spa-pic-01

Spa Week is a great time for brides – whether your wedding is weeks, months, or even a year away, take a break from the stress of planning and preparation and slip into one of our hundreds of participating spas for a treatment to match the stage of your planning!

- If your wedding’s coming up in a matter of days or weeks, try a fabulous facial to buff, cleanse, and smooth pores to a picture-worthy finish.
- If your wedding’s a few months, you’re probably stressed out – and you’ve got the knots to prove it. Get the tension pummeled out (in a good way!) with one of the many, many varieties of massage offered during the event.
- If your wedding’s still far in the distance, you’re probably in the giggly, lovey-dovey, post-engagement stage. Why not get a cute, couples-only treatment? We rounded up some good choices here.

If you’re a bride-to-be, got any Spa Week appointments booked?

Wedding Wednesday: Win $1,000 for Your Wedding, Courtesy of the Wedding Channel

Many couples track their wedding planning on websites created especially to organize and count down to the big day. Our pals over at the Wedding Channel offer a fun and easy way for couples to put together a personalized wedding website so that family and friends can join in the planning and excitement.

And now, the Wedding Channel is rewarding couples who come up with dynamite wedding websites – with $1,000, which as anyone planning a wedding knows, is a tidy little chunk of change that can make quite a difference. All you have to do is create a website for your wedding and direct your friends and family there – the Wedding Channel will be tracking traffic to all wedding websites and will reward the most popular website with $1,000 at the end of April.

To help your cause, they provide this cute little button:

Wedding Wednesday: Dress Hunting in the Digital Age

intro_imageWe hear that finding the perfect wedding dress can be a little like the proverbial needle in a haystack. Only in this version of the fable, the needle will cost thousands of dollars when you do finally find it! Yay!

All joking aside, if you’re at a loss and need some help narrowing down your dress options, try the main_imageknot’s interactive photo dress search. Whether your perfect dress is long-sleeved, short-sleeved, or no-sleeved, you can filter through a host of dress options to find the one that calls your name.

Search by designer, or by silhouette, or neckline – or the all-important price range. It’s a little idea, but it’s an overdue one!

Love: Don’t Trash It

1076533_34818265

Let no one accuse New Jersey sanitation workers of not believing in love – they’ll dig through tons of trash for people they don’t even know in the name of love!

A Parsippany, NJ woman lost her wedding ring after she placed it in a cup for safekeeping and her husband threw the cup away by accident. When the distraught husband called the sanitation department, a supervisor and two sanitation workers helped him go through a nearly 10-ton pile of trash in order to find the trash bag the ring was thrown out in. Their act of kindness couldn’t have been timed better – the couple just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.

What lengths would you go to for love? Head over to the Wedding Channel’s facebook page to explain why someone should marry you, and you could win a spa package for two from SPA WEEK®!
