Lose Weight By Accident: OMG, This Simple Tip Will Rock Your World!

Column by: Kavita Jhaveri-Patel

This one is a fun one! I am so excited to tell you about this little way you can tweak the way you drink water so that it becomes a calorie burning potion.

Most of us know that drinking water is good for us, and that our bodies require it, but very few of us know how to drink water in a way that can help you lose weight by accident. I promise there are tricks of the trade that I am going to reveal below.  This method ALONE can be life-changing.

If you have been following my weekly blog posts you know water is the best drink in the world! Your body requires water to remove toxins, keep away the bloat, prevents headaches, and overall helps to heal anything and everything in your body.

The average adult human body is made up of 60 -75% water. The brain is made up of 85% water, and our blood, the most important vehicle in distributing oxygen, vitamins, and minerals throughout the body and it is made up of 90% water.

Hence, water is crucial, on several levels. The only ingredient that burns calories is oxygen, and the only way oxygen can be circulated throughout your body is by your blood. Water, being the main component of your blood, is essential in burning calories and keeping your body oxygenated.

Okay, now to the moment you have been waiting for. I had to build it up, because once you hear it you are going to be like… that is SO simple! The best way to drink water is to have it…. hot. Yes, hot. I am not talking about room temperature. I’m talking I-can-see-a-tiny-bit-of steam-coming-out hot.

By drinking hot water, especially starting your day with 2 hot glasses, you cleanse your digestive tract and your entire body. The hot water basically grabs every last impurity and blockage in your body and flushes it out, helping you reduce the bloat.

The other amazing part is, if you drink hot water throughout your day, it will improve your digestion and breakdown food faster so that it doesn’t become toxic, also reducing the bloat. And last but not least it CURBS your cravings for more food in between meals.

OMG, isn’t that amazing!
