Win a 3-Night Las Vegas Spa Getaway

Twice upon a time in the summers of ’07 and ’08, I spent entirely too long in Las Vegas. It was for work both times, and don’t get me wrong, I adore that city with a party-girl passion. I spent ten wild days indulging in world-class spa experiences, lounging in poolside cabanas with D-list celebrities, escaping the desert heat in nearly-naked pools, pretending I could afford $4,500 handbags as I cooled down in delicious hotel air conditioning, getting free martinis over hours at the blackjack table (winning… most of the time), dining on juicy steaks and mind-blowing sushi rolls in some of the best restaurants anywhere, and partying till dawn with people I’d never, ever see again. Thank God. What happens in Vegas when you stay for ten days? You realize it would have been in your health’s best interest to have only stayed for three or four.

You have till TOMORROW to enter to win the perfect amount of time in Las Vegas! ENTER NOW for your 3-night Las Vegas Hilton escape. If you win, enjoy every second of it. (Trust me, you will.)

See which spa treatments will work for your relationship! (Works outside of Vegas too.)

And a bonus thanks to @ISpaDoYou for finding this one — was going to re-tweet you but it was too pertinent to be non-permanent.

Sin City

Admittedly, I have a few issues with control (but how can you blame me when I usually have a better way of doing things?). My very dear friend is getting married, and her younger sister sent out an email about a pending bachelorette party. My immediate reaction was, “Did you get a good rate on spa treatments or the hotel?” I referred her to WeddingChannel.com’s story on bridal party activities, and then soon realized that, as of that moment, I had only been invited to the bachelorette and not to be a bridesmaid. The convo got a bit awkward so I immediately transitioned back to party talk.

They are only in the beginning stages of planning so I suggested (with a resigned demeanor, of course) going to Vegas. Yeah, it’s a bit cliché, but the Las Vegas Hilton’s Summer Getaway Package includes 2-nights accommodations, a trough of food (a.k.a. buffet), welcome cocktails (woohoo!), and more all for $135. I dare her to find better!

Paradise? Close. It’s Vegas, Baby.

Let’s be honest: no one treks to Sin City for shut-eye. But even if Vegas isn’t exactly where you’d go if you wanted some R&R, this deal is just too good to pass up. The Las Vegas Hilton is currently offering two jaw-droppingly inexpensive packages. First is their Serenity Spa Package which, among other things, includes 2 nights’ deluxe hotel accommodations and your choice of a body scrub or Swedish massage for $199! Where else can you find a scrubbing and a soft bed for that price without having to work for it? (Kidding). There’s more! Keep reading. [Read more...]
