Spa Week is over, but the memories and benefits are everlasting! One of the greatest rewards for us is hearing about how Spa Week has touched your lives. We asked for your Spa Week stories, and this is the week you get to read the 5 winners, who will all receive $50 Spa Week Gift Cards to use for their next spa treatment.
After a long night out, this spa-goer had Clarins work their magic!
I booked my facial at the Clarins Skin Spa the day Spa Week bookings opened. I was so excited that the Clarins Spa on Madison Avenue was included in the curated list of spas! My facial landed on Columbus Day which I luckily had off from work – it was too perfect. With a day off from work of course has to come with a late night out the night before, right? Of course!
I went to my facial a tad… would you say… under the weather? My facialist examined my skin and made the conclusion that my skin was dehydrated. Yeah… you could say that again. My facialist performed the Clarins tri-active facial treatment on my post party skin. After about 20 minutes I felt rejuvenated and after 40 minutes I felt as if she had unmasked a new layer of skin! And after 60 minutes, I felt like a new person! This gem of treatment not only rejuvenated my skin but also my day off! Highly recommended.

This was my first time participating in Spa Week as well as my first time going to a Red Door Spa. I had booked the 50 Min Spa Week Stress Melter Ritual with Exfoliation, Aroma Therapeutic Body Wrap and Relaxing Scalp Massage. I was not sure what to expect, but I knew they were probably booked solid so I somewhat expected a rushed service and a not so friendly technician who had been on her feet all day.
My friend Maureen and I visited LIFE SPA in Florham Park during Spa Week. Maureen is a 7 year breast cancer survivor who considers her cancer a “blessing.” It made her re-evaluate her life and choose the things most important to her, given the new lease on life. Spending time with friends is one of the things on the top of her list.
I had been intrigued about the Catio Express non-surgical face lift at the Tribeca Spa of Tranquility for quite some time. Given that I’m a Spa Week regular at the spa (because they never fail to treat me like a princess there) and know that every service they offer always worked, I decided to give it a try. My aesthetician, Sara, started by giving me a basic cleansing, and then the fun began. I started feeling these vibrating sensations on parts of my face as Sara moved the equipment around. Even though I wouldn’t call it relaxing, it wasn’t uncomfortable at all (and I kept telling myself that it had gotta be better than going under the knife). After finishing the right side of my face, she gave me a mirror and I could see the puffiness under my eye was dramatically minimized, and my cheek was also fuller. She then proceeded to work on the other side, followed by a soothing mask and a quick shoulder massage. The shoulder and belly warmers were what I loved about this spa – their constant attention to details showed how they always strive to make sure the clients were pampered.
