Migdalia quickly discovered that it’s not about the size or how well-known a spa is, but rather the quality of the treatments and the personal touch that each customer receives. Migdalia’s lengthy spa day began with an Electro-Lymphatic Drainage Therapy which can strengthen the immune system in 8 to 10 treatments. She then indulged in a relaxing mini-facial, a wash and style at the salon, and finished it off with a Gel Wrap Manicure. Can’t get any better than full body pampering. For Spa Madness! we sent Louise of Mom Start to Advance Skin Care and Body Solutions in Bellvue, Washington to get a microdermabrasion treatment. Microdermabrasion is a mini-treatment of the skin being sandblasted with aluminium crystals to get rid of dead skins cells. Dead skins cells lead to enlarged pores making it easy for dirt to seep in. 

For a busy mom, facials and treatments are often not even on the list of things to do, but we made it happen for Louise.

For Spa Madness!, Beauty Is Within blogstress Maria headed to Transcend Spa to experience microdermabrasion with organic ingredients. It was her first experience with micro and she wasn’t quite sure what to expect…but the fabulous treatment, luxurious organic products, and relaxing massage left her on “cloud nine” (her words – would we make this stuff up?)

For Spa Madness! we sent Carissa of Hooked On Beauty to experience the 70 Minute Swedish Massage at Orange Skye Day Spa in Denver, CO. She described the treatment as a combination of much needed relaxation and deep pressure since her shoulders were in a constant state of stress. Carissa’s back and shoulders weren’t the only body parts being relaxed as she nearly fell asleep during the treatment.
