After I posted the video of Susan Boyle on Wednesday I received an overwhelming amount of photos that made readers smile. So I decided to roll out the red carpet for a new weekly giveaway contest, bigger and badder (no, not a real word) than my usual. The world is a tough place and I just want to spread cheer in my own little naive way. So here are the rules:

1. Each week I’ll write a post entitled What Makes Us Smile.

2. Reply to that post (in the comments section) with a link to something that makes you smile and tell me why. (Your submission should change each week.)
