Playlist: A Holly Jolly Mix

“Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…” You’re way more likely to hum it than do it, aren’t you?

The time of year for exaggerated gestures of love and unrelenting holiday cheer is finally upon us. As we approach occasions filled with endless laughs, conversation, dinners, and quality time spent with those who know us best, let’s reflect on the soundtrack. The holidays would be lackluster lacking Eartha Kitt’s seductive purr on “Santa Baby,” Dean Martin’s “Baby It’s Cold Outside” or Mariah Carey’s strong voice declaring all she really wants for Christmas is you. Silence your inner Grinch with our playlist of classics sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

Are you Holding Out For a Hero? The spa industry might just be where to find one. One of the often overlooked facts about spas is that many of the treatments are environmentally conscious, animal friendly, and many participate in supporting healthcare initiatives like breast cancer awareness. The philanthropic and eco-friendly components of the spa lifestyle are prominent and often overlooked. This week we’ll be exploring green and healthy spa treatments, but first we’ll kick off the week of wellness with a playlist of 25 of the most inspirational songs of all time. We took a few suggestions from our Facebook Fans and added on classic inspirational hits like “Heal the World” by Michael Jackson, “Beautiful Day” by U2 and “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor.

And I think to myself… What a Wonderful World. Have a Beautiful Day.
