April is Earth Spa-wareness Month

In anticipation of Earth Day on April 22, we want to pay even more tribute to our earth-friendly spas. We gave you Spa Week’s 7 Eco-Spas Keeping It Green, but there are plenty more of our spas doing good for the earth while they do good for you. Earth Day falls on the last day of the Spring Spa Week event, so what better way to take care of yourself and the earth than by planning yourself an Earth Spa Day!

Many of our spas offer organic products and treatments that utilize the purest ingredients to get you naturally beautiful. Certified organic products are made with ingredients that are grown free of synthetic pesticides, herbicides and genetically modified organisms. Organic products are especially good for those with sensitive skin, allergies, and for women who are pregnant. Additionally, while organic products are looking out for your health, they’re also not hurting our fragile ecosystem.

Natural Body Spa Makes It Easy to Be Green

Poor Kermit. He says it’s not easy being green. Natural Body Spas would have to disagree though. Not only is it easy, but certainly relaxing! Since opening their doors in 1989 they set out to take care of our bodies and the world the most natural way possible.  Being green has become so popular, it even made our list of Top 10 Hottest Spa Treatment Trends for Fall 2011.

Their co-founder and CEO, Cici Coffee said that it was their mission from day one to “create a peaceful haven for clients…and take care of their bodies and their world naturally.” We say mission accomplished!
