On a mission to bring the healthy spa lifestyle to EVERYONE, we’ve worked to get more and more cities on board this for Spa Week Oct 10-16 than ever before. Below are 16 flourishing Spa Week states and our brand new small towns and cities in each, with some fun facts to get you better acquainted. Let the geography lesson begin… and tell us YOUR town or city below so we can work on getting them on board for next year if they aren’t yet. Spa for all!
California

The golden state is adding some more sunshine to Spa Week! First, we’ll take a stop at one of the hundreds of wineries at our disposal then finish by dipping our toes in the warm, sandy beaches and try to catch a glimpse of the celebs.

Connecticut

This may unofficially be the home of the “prepsters” with cardigan sweaters and boat shoes but there is also something for the historic buff. Relive your Jurassic Park memories by visiting one of the largest dinosaur track sites in North America, Dinosaur State Park.

Phoenix, Arizona – Kick off Hispanic Heritage month this Saturday, September 4th 2010 from 11 am to 6 pm, as the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual 21st Fiesta de Septiembre. The event takes place in Historic downtown Wickenburg, and includes Mariachi groups, folklorico dancers, salsa and margarita contests, outdoor mercado, food and beverage cantina, historic photo exhibits, and a food fair! Boston, Massachusetts – If you’re in Boston this weekend, the one event to check out is their traditional Gloucester Schooner Festival. This 26th annual schooner festival takes place in America’s oldest seaport. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Stop by the 45th Annual Polish-American Family Festival and County Fair to enjoy a three-day festival of all things Polish. Running from September 4th until September 6th 2010, this event is infused with the Polish spirit, featuring vendors, kielbasa, pierogi, loads of entertainment (yes, there’s polka), and much more. Columbus, Ohio – The mission of the Native American Indian Center is to preserve, protect and promote Native American culture, spirituality and philosophy. This has been accomplished through traditional Powwow’s, as they are the greatest expression of Native American Indian art. Join them during their traditional Labor Day Powwow, to encompass the values, traditions and spirituality of many native cultures.
