Wax and shave vs. Smooth Away? It really depends on the area you are working on. If you’re looking for a quick and long lasting replacement for shaving your legs… this isn’t the best way to go.
Join the Arm-y: I recommend this most for arms. It’s definitely less expensive than waxing, doesn’t grow in as thick as shaving and gets the job done.
How it works: The Smooth Away kit comes with a large handle, a small handle (for elbows and smaller areas) and about 5 replacement pads. Place a pad on the handle and rub desired area in a circular direction 4 times, then switch directions; continue until hair is removed.
Trial and error: Sometimes it takes a few times to get the desired results, and if you keep up with it, your arms will be as smooth they were before you hit puberty.
Advice for First Time User: Keep in mind this does not work well if you have a lot of hair and it grows back faster than waxing so to keep your skin super smooth do it about once a week or every other week and always moisturize.
