The models, magic, the the mega high heels… Fashion Week has taken over NYC, and whether you’re at the tents or shopping till you drop, your feet will be hurting in no time. The last thing you want to happen is to end up like Victoria Beckham, sentenced to wearing flats for Fashion Week (or forever!?) due to foot damage from wearing one too many pairs of shoes taller than she is.
We turned to our Gorgeous on a Dime’r Jenna Nicole Levine for this simple, cheap 3 step routine to keep your footsies posh, not Posh Spice.
1. Dr Scholl’s For Her is your friend. Dr Scholl’s knows you need arch support, ball of your foot cushions, and comfort insoles all easily accessible at your local CVS. Before you head out for the day stop at your local drug store and fill your purse with these goodies for all your foot pain needs.

2. Next, try these simple ankle exercises, designed to increase ankle flexibility and strengthen your shin and calf muscles: Lift your foot from the ground and pull it up like you are trying to touch your toes to your shin. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Start out doing 3 sets of 10 pulls, and work your way up to doing 3 sets of 30 pulls. Then reverse the movement pointing your toes towards the floor. Try to do this 2-3 times a day.
3. Lastly, once you have returned home with your spoils take 10 minutes to soak your feet in a tub of warm water mixed with a dime sized drop of Freeman Bare Foot Softening Foot Soak in Peppermint & Plum available at Drugstore.com for $3.99. This soak with relax your senses and sooth tired achy feet.
Also, on Monday when Spa Week booking begins, reserve yourself some therapeutic foot reflexology and/or a pedicure. For now, stay comfortable (there ARE some pretty fab styles that won’t kill your feet – HEY flatforms!) and enjoy the Fashion Week frenzy from whatever height you desire.
