Celebrity Spa Arrest: Lady Gaga’s Turquoise Body Hair

Celebrity Suspect: Lady Gaga

Case: What has the Haus of Gaga done now? At Toronto’s Much Music Awards, Gagaloo sang “Hair” while rocking some outrageous turquoise body fuzz. We call this new trend the “Private Waterfall” look, with the emphasis on private. We love the wig, the pits are a bit unsettling, but acceptable only because it’s Gaga, but the turquoise merkin down below? Hold please.

Spa Treatment Sentencing: We hope these hair pieces are temporary and removable, however… there is a possibility that Gaga has gone, as the French say: au natural. In any case, we sentence her to multiple laser hair removal treatments for underarm and bikini line. Since we know Gaga has been rapid-fire switching up her look these days (long and grey, Cruella DeVille, body modifications), we (the judge and jury) recommend she take full advantage of TheRightDeal that launches tomorrow morning at 9 am. OH yes we’re spilling it early… 6 (SIX!) Laser Hair Removal Treatments at Randee Elaine Spa and Laser Center in NYC (reg. $450-$1500) for just $199. She could save up to $1,300 and use that money to buy more sunglasses and hair bows (aka trends we the jury approve of).

Celebrity Spa Arrest: Nicole Richie and Joel Madden

Celebrity Suspects:
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden

Case: Pillow fight! One of our favorite Hollywood couples got into quite a spat for all the world to see on Twitter earlier this week. While Nicole was busy taking in the grandeur of Paris Fashion Week, Joel sat at home in L.A. griping over Nicole’s expensive shopping habits.

“Do you ever look at your credit card bill & ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows?” Madden asked his followers. “I do. I mean can’t we just go to Target and get our pillows???” Of course, Nicole defending her purchases by snapping back — “That’s why I ignore your calls.”

The fight didn’t end there, Joel replied: “Needless to say the pillows are going back to the expensive pillow store. Hope she likes the Target pillows I’m putting in their place,” later adding, “I was thinking they must be made from unicorn manes.”

Spa Treatment Sentencing: Typically we would side with the woman on her retail weaknesses, however this time we have to agree with Joel. $3,000 is a pretty expensive shopping trip for fluffy pillows, even if you’re filthy rich. If Nicole needed to relax she could have done so for way cheaper through our Spa Deals. In lieu of Nicole’s pricey thread counts and fancy feathers, we’re sending them to Spa Xanadu for 60 Min Swedish Massages, only $70 each this March.

Celebrity Spa Arrest: Serena Williams

Celebrity Suspect:
Serena Williams

Case: This week America’s tennis darling reminded us once again how important it is to be aware of our health. If you frequent celebrity blogs then you’ve seen pictures of Serena wobbling around with her foot in a cast due to an earlier injury. Just last Sunday the world champion tennis pro mingled amongst the Hollywood elite at Vanity Fair’s Post Oscar party and everything appeared to be fine. Out of the blue Serena suffered a pulmonary embolism proving that even athletes can suffer traumatic health scares. Today she released a statement to People Magazine about her condition.

“Thank you everyone for all of your prayers, concerns, and support,” the star, 29, tells PEOPLE in a statement. “This has been extremely hard, scary, and disappointing. I am doing better, I’m at home now and working with my doctors to keep everything under control.”

Spa Treatment Sentencing: A pulmonary embolism is caused by blood clots that travel to your lungs from another part of your body — most commonly, your legs. We’re sentencing Serena to Cariño Massage in West Hollywood to get Three 60 Minute Sessions Carino Massages available for $160 in our spa deals this month. Getting regular massages is one of the best ways to maintain healthy blood circulation.

Celebrity Spa Arrest: Carmelo Anthony

Celebrity Suspect:

Carmelo Anthony

Case: If there is one thing to be said about Knick fans–they are truly die hard and unwavering believers of the potential of their team. Even when things were down they managed to keep the faith. Recently they have begun to see brighter days by acquiring Amar’e Stoudemire and well, last night was also a good time to be a Knick. After a tri-team tug-of-war, New York was able to bring the West Coast All Star, Carmelo Anthony back home to his roots. Before his decision was publicly announced he had to dodge the tough badgering from Conan who just wouldn’t let up on his decision.

Spa Treatment Sentencing: For keeping his cool under an immense amount of pressure Carmelo definitely deserves some spa time. To get New York’s new star player loose and ready for the court, we’re sending him to Aveda Red Bell Spa in Hicksville, New York for a 60 Min Four-Hands Chakra Balancing Massage $139.95, normally $240 as part of our spa deals.

Yikes! Cucumbers, Handcuffs, REAL Spa Arrests

As you know, we here at Spa Week Daily think it’s super fun to put stars under Celebrity Spa Arrest… virtually sending them for a spa treatment to fit their unglamorous/hairy/awkward/idiotic crimes.

Well, it came to my attention the other day that long before we were doing this, the Fox Reality Channel was using the spa as a way to capture real, live, wanted fugitives in their reality show: Smile, You’re Under Arrest. Can you imagine being blindfolded by cucumbers then sitting up from your facial in handcuffs? To people saying: “You’re under arrest… but you’re relaxed!”?? Nuts. If you have 22 minutes to spare, I suggest you watch it for some seriously trippy spa experiences.
