Spa Like Britney Spears… Shoes Always Optional

Yes, Britney Spears… the same hot mess who once shaved her head and walked barefoot in a gas station bathroom, has launched a spa line. She really cleaned up for the occasion – she’s looking hotter and more put together than she has in years, and it must be because of the Femme Fatale Spa Set featured in her pop-up shop this week.

The Femme Fatale Spa Set includes Mango Papaya Sugar Scrub, Soap, Body Wash and Lotion. Don’t you know that you’re Toxic? If so, there’s nothing a Mango Papaya Sugar Scrub can’t wash away. Also included is a Sleep Mask, a Candle, and Tea to calm your nerves (or in Brit’s case, sidetrack you from a world tour, two pint-sized sons and that haunting Popo Zao K-Fed song). The best part: set is only $30. Now we REALLY want a piece of you, Brit!

Britney’s pop-up shop features flash sales that are only publicized through B’s Facebook, Twitter and official website. The current promo is The Femme Fatale 5 Weeks of Summer Sale where each week Brit offers a different piece of limited edition/quantity merch. This one launched today at 11 AM PST. Do you have a dirty, inner Femme Fatale that needs a spa treatment?

Sleep Therapy: Win a Spa Pillowcase

Getting your luxury spa treatment is only half the battle to bliss. Extending the “feel good” benefits of each soothing massage or rejuvenating facial at home is an all-important part of your spa routine, and this includes what happens when your head hits the pillow.

To spotlight one of the 12 hottest spa treatment trends for Fall, Sleeping and Dreaming treatments, we are giving away pillowcases glossed with the wellness benefits of the spa. The Satin Hydration Therapy® organic satin pillowcase from Neero & Ana packs all the extra hydration you need to keep skin supple and youthful, and keeps your hair in healthy shape too. WINNERS:

KatF: My first, and only, spa experience occurred a few years ago. A friend who was leaving the area & had received a gift card to a local spa offered me the gift card she had received as a wedding present. I originally refused her kind offer & explained to her she should try to use the GC before she left town or save in case she ever returned for a visit, etc. She insisted she would not use as not sure if/when she would return. I accepted the GC with some reluctance, but really not that much. :) I made myself a reservation but not really knowing what to expect since this was my first spa experience. I admit I was a bit nervous about the whole process but tried to keep an open mind. Upon my check in, I was given a robe & slippers & instructed on where to change & where to check my clothing. I was then seated in a lovely room and given an aromatic foot soak with my choice of beverage. Being that I live in the Pacific NW, I opted for some hot herbal tea. Approx. 10-15 minutes later I was retrieved by the massage therapist who performed an incredible and relaxing “tranquility massage” that allowed me to surrender my mind & body to the experience. Now if that wasn’t the bees knees, it was followed by an invigorating eucalyptus steam and Swiss Shower that put me over the top for the ultimate spa session.

Hellen: The most relaxing experience I had in a Spa was in florida. It was a fantastic and a very positive adventure. The therapist used amazing techniques , and the perfect amount of pressure so I could still feel relaxed. The relaxation started when I arrived , they asked me to light a candle and make a wish. That made me feel renewed before beginning my journey at the spa, and it’s a very delicate way of being welcomed as well. Then i walked back to their locker room where the lights begin to get softer, and the music went from energizing at the front desk to a relax tune as I walked to the back where the amenities were. I then experienced the most amazing waterfall jacuzzi, with warmed lounge chairs, a beautiful sauna , and this amazing steam room infused with eucalyptus which helped my breathing a lot and made me even more relaxed. After having my treatment in a room that had been customized for me , with my scent, color , and music I walked to their garden where I spent the rest of the day lounging in hanging chairs, with my feet on the water, and also had a chance to nap on their cabanas. What an amazing , relaxing day I had. I felt revitalized! To me this was so relaxing because i was able to have a day made just for myself, and all of the details helped me feel warm and comfortable.
