i purchased a facial here for spa week a few months back. after my treatment they offered 3 more facials at $50 each. i thought it was a deal so i pre-paid. my friend made an appt for facials today. i get there 20 mins early – no red flags. wait, wait, wait, my friend comes in and she's escorted to a room. as it turns out they only have 1 girl doing facials and she wanted to come in and out of our rooms and do us both at once. REALLY? is that half price then. i sat there for 20 minutes why didnt they tell me or call ahead to see if i would've like to reschedule? Rude! this spot should NOT be located off madison ave., it's misleading!!! i asked for a refund and the girl at the front desk said no refunds–really. i'm waiting for the manager to call me back tomorrow. if they think i'm stepping foot in there again they have another thing coming. buy cheap buy twice. Be warned! Also, the closet they ask you to put your coat in STINKS because someone's dirty sneakers are in there and it's not kept clean. GROSS. IF there was a 0 star rating that's what i would've selected.

THis has to be the most confusing promotion ever. Too many tricks, and forms and links just to dave $30 for a massage, if you can find one. Clean it up.

The Texas Woodhouse Spas have a pretty interesting blog, so if you can't get in there for spa week, I know they have their own pretty cool promotional giveaways when you add them on facebook / twitter and stuff. I think it's Woodhouse Day Spa Blog, look it up on Google

I entered the spa giveaway through People magazine and the rules said to check back on the website approx the 5th of Oct for winners (although you were supposed to be contacted by email if a winner). Of course there is no link to this event and hasn't been for a while, neither here or at People.com. What's the deal?

Hi Krista – we have had thousands of steady entries to the contest! We are under contractual obligation with People to not give away the URL link. I'm not sure what is going on, but every time we check the giveaway, it is working. I do hope you and everyone can figure it out, simply by typing in the URL given in People Magazine. Keep me posted. I am a PEOPLE magazine subscriber & like many others that have written in have not been able to enter Fiji Spa Getaway contest? I noticed you answered all other questions regarding Spa Week except the People giveaway. If this is an error then we should be told, otherwise it is false advertisement or fraud and consumers should be made aware of this issue and not support Spaweek or People magazine!- Krista
I agree with some of your other comments listed! I've tried before and now on this one for Figi and have never been able to get through to Enter or Get Details!! What up–is this really a for real offer or a scam put on by People????
Guess I'm not the only person looking for the Spa Week Getaway Fiji Official Rules. Will keep trying. I have the info from page 126 in PEOPLE magazine, but am unable to locate the place to enter the contest for a trip for 2 to Fiji/Turtle Island. Hopefully this oversight will be rectified before the end of the contest. Thank you.

I tried to call the Woodhouse day Spa to schedule appointments for Spa week and they would not schedule because they said the Manager had not decided what treatments they were going to be offering. I don't feel like they should be advertising to call for spa week unless they are fully ready to participate and ready to take appointments!
I'd love to know who the lucky winner was of the Marquis Los Cabos Resort Spa week, can't seem to find that post on the website.

What a nice friend! Our gift card isn't currently accepted at Bliss in New York, but it is accepted at dozens of other spas throughout the city. Many people who receive the gift cards as gifts enjoy having the chance to try out a new spa, so your spa-loving friend would probably enjoy a card anyway!
