Orchid Aesthetics Party, and the Botox Craze Continues

Orchid Aesthetics, a medical spa located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, hosted an intimate, celebratory gathering Wednesday evening at The Hudson Hotel in New York City to announce the launch of their tier spa membership. Botox, Dysport and Latisse were raffled off at the end of an evening filled with champagne and an all-you-can-eat buffet of tasty tapas.

Each of the new memberships (below) offers a choice of one facial treatment each month to promote a consistent skin care regiments, and each is also centered around a number of free units of Botox.

Although Botox is nothing new, what IS new about it is that it is becoming more and more accessible as a walk-in treatment, and our Spa Week spas will be offering more $50 Botox treatments than ever this season. Also, membership packages like these encourage Botox to become a natural part of your beauty and upkeep routine as opposed to an occasional refinement.

In fact, the owners of Orchid Aesthetics told Spa Week Daily that they have plans to launch a series of Botox Parties. Stay tuned.

BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments are the number one anti-aging treatment used with a very high prevalence among women, but used in facial rejuvenation by men as well. Botox Cosmetic for men may require increased dosage or concentration. It works by relaxing facial muscles by blocking nerve impulses that trigger wrinkle-causing muscle contractions, creating a smoothed and improved appearance. Results typically last from 3 – 15 months, varying with with each patient.

    Lynn and Robin,
Thanks for commenting on this. Regarding Orchid Spa, I must tell you how devastated they were that the hotel reception sent away so many guests. As a guest of the party myself, I almost got turned away too, but then questioned them until reception desk hunted the party down. It was extremely poor coordination on the part of the hotel, and it really hurt the spa in ways beyond measure, as evidenced here. It was truly a lovely gathering, and I have forwarded your comments on to Owen, the owner, who was hoping to capture some of the emails to make personal apologies. You should be hearing from him shortly.
Sorry you both had that experience. It was a big let down for them, and for you too no doubt.

I called you the day after this event to tell you that I had invited guests to come to this event, and we could not get in, because the hotel had no information where you were located.
As a business professionial, I was embarrassed to take the time of others to come to this and have to wait around for a half hour until they realized there was no way to find you.
Please do not send me any more of your emails.

    Thank You,
    Hara Taicher

I attempted to go to your party at the Hudson Hotel on Wednesday after I was invited by someone to attend. Your invitation had no hotel room listed on it. The Concierge and the Hotel Manager had no idea that you had any kind of event going on. After a half hour of fruitless searching, calling your office and getting no answer, I gave up. And I'm not the only one who had this unfortunate experience. If this is an example of your attention to customers, I won't be frequenting your spa. You should make amends to those who took the time out to try to attend your presentation. Regards, Robin
