Last night we kicked off Spa Week Spring 2010 at the Westin Hotel in Times Square in partnership with Spa 23, the hotel’s 23rd floor spa escape. Editors, the NYC Bloggerati, friends and VIPs joined us to spread the message of the evening: The spa lifestyle is something for everyone to enjoy. It’s for the woman who works two jobs, the college student seeking a little luxury in between ramen noodles, the Sportcenter guy who finds skin care important, and any girl who has considered living in a cardboard box to fund her beauty addiction. When we say everyone, we mean everyone!
So what did you miss? Guests entered a green-lit oasis with crystal chandeliers, where they were served white wine, hors d’ouvres, and were treated to relaxing after-work massages by Spa 23– much appreciated after a long Monday. Party-goers indulged in aromatherapy perfumese by the Essence of Vali, Comfort Zone Spa skin care products, beauty products from Italy, herbal, vitamin, and mineral based oral sprays by Sprayology and much more!
At the end of the night we raffled off a $50 Spa Week Gift Card along with a big beauty basket, as well as a spa treatment courtesy of the luxurious Spa 23 at the Westin. We thank you all for coming out and we hope that you spread the word about the goodness of Spa Week.

What about the treatments? Last Saturday I experienced Spa 23’s Absolute Pearl Facial and the Vital Treatment Massage – both $50 for Spa Week, and both fantastic. I also ate a healthy hearty grilled shrimp salad lunch at Shula’s steakhouse afterwards, rounding out a wholesome day day of wellness. It was wonderful partnering with Spa 23 to throw this party, and I encourage you to experience your Spa Week treatments here, 23 floors above the heart of Times Square.
