We came across two bizarre, unsettling pieces of news yesterday:

1.    A man is suing Axe after 7 years of never picking up a girl, as promised by the ads. [Full Story]

2.    A plastic surgeon married a woman… and then performed 8 plastic surgeries on her to sculpt his ideal wife. [Full Story]

STOP in the name of love, lust and lunacy, you say! Yes, at a glance, either of these cases is enough to make one worry for the sanity of the human race.

But if you take a step back for a deeper look at these situations, aren’t these just really extreme representations of our own everyday feelings on beauty, image and self-esteem?

Think about why you wear perfume, lipstick or hairspray and why you choose the brands that you do. Are you thinking? You can relate a little bit, right?
